Dr (MD) Isabelle Lethen

Dr Isabelle Lethen is a resident physician in the Department of Nephrology at the Klinikum rechts der Isar, Munich, Germany. She conducts research in the laboratory of Christoph Schmaderer, focusing on translational immunology. As part of the “All Eyes on PCS” study (partially funded by the State of Bavaria), her work involves immunophenotyping of patients with post-COVID syndrome (PCS) using fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS), with subsequent integration of immunological profiles and clinical data. The project aims to comprehensively characterise patients with PCS compared to recovered individuals, with the goal of advancing mechanistic understanding and supporting the development of diagnostic biomarkers and targeted therapeutic strategies
