Prof David Putrino is a physical therapist with a PhD in neuroscience and the Director of Rehabilitation Innovation for the Mount Sinai Health System. He is also a professor in the Department of Rehabilitation and Human Performance at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai - New York City in the United States. Prof Putrino's research topics include cell biology, cognitive neuroscience, molecular biology, neurophysiology and neuroscience. He serves as the Nash Family Director of the newly founded Center for Recovery From Complex Chronic Illnesses (CoRE) at Mount Sinai, which will provide clinical care for patients with infection-associated complex chronic illnesses such as ME/CFS.
